MoAAM

The Museum of African American Music is the first facility of its kind to house the musical genres of gospel, blues, jazz, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, hip-hop and house all in one place. MoAAM programs in arts and culture will be in the community, in the schools and will develop projects that are inside and outside the physical museum facility. It is the jewel that will return the bright sparkle to the Lincoln Park Historic district that has not existed since the area's glory days of mansions, society events and business tycoons. An anchoring facility for the southern end of Broad Street, MoAAM has designation as an Affiliate of the revered Smithsonian Institution, the only one in New Jersey.
